Our Building Inclusive Communities Course is open to anyone who wants to advance their knowledge about the policies and legislation that protect people's rights, and how we can work together in our communities to build a cohesive society that embraces diversity to a greater degree. Anyone working in the sector should do this course including support organisations, health professionals, care workers and many others. It is also valuable for people with disabilities and their family/carers.

Courses are available online to people in New Zealand, including people with disabilities who would like to train to be Assistive Technology Mentors. There are also courses for those working with Assistive Technology such as allied health professionals, support workers, and suppliers. Assistive Technology Australia is registered training organisation (RTO code: 90707). Their instructors are qualified health professionals with experience in delivering competency based, accredited training.
The Assistive Technology courses complement the Academy’s Building Inclusive Communities course and provide valuable training for those working to enable good lives for people with disabilities.
